Brevard Film Society (BFS) kicks off the season by screening the founder’s first film directed, produced and written by the Anton’s, Anything for Love previously entitled At Last. Shot entirely in New Orleans with Martin Donovan and Kelly Lynch in the main roles. Anything for Love tells the story of Tom and Sandi’s journey to rekindle their teenage love after being separated for 25 years. After the film, there will be a Q & A period when the Anton’s will share with the audience the process of turning their own true love story into a feature film. The sound track for the film is authentic New Orleans. New Orleans music beats to a rhythm unique to the history of the city.
BFS aims to create a conversation forum for film. It is a membership organization that offers carefully selected films from independent filmmakers, documentaries, foreign films and a variety of shorts. The 2014 season begins on March 6th, screening two films each month and ends in October. BFS’s screenings begin at 7:00pm at the Dunham Auditorium with an introduction of the night’s film by Tom Anton.
