Call for “Extras” for WSPA TV 7 News – Daybreak Hometown Spotlight Brevard

Brevard will be in the Spotlight again! Christine Scarpelli a reporter with WSPA Channel 7 News out of Spartanburg, SC will be hanging out this Friday, February 17, reporting live from Brevard throughout the morning. Her show is called “Daybreak Hometown Spotlight” and will air live from Brevard between 4:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.
Tammy Hopkins with FilmBrevardNC and the Transylvania Community Arts Council said, “we are working with the Heart of Brevard and the City of Brevard to pull off this spotlight on “Things to Do in Brevard.” Featured topics throughout the live morning reports will be Outdoor Recreation, Arts and Music, Shopping, Kids Activities, Breweries, Wine and Food, White Squirrels and Street Festivals. We need lots of folks to come downtown Friday morning and be extras in the shots.”
If you are interested in being an extra this Friday morning show up at Blue Ridge Bakery between 4:30 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. and hang out like you are having your morning breakfast and coffee. WSPA will go live from Blue Ridge Bakery at 4:50 a.m. and again at 5:20 a.m. The next shots will be downtown from Wine Down on Main at 5:50 a.m. and then Rocky’s Grill at 6:20 a.m. Arts and Music representatives will go live from Number 7 Arts Gallery at 6:50 a.m. and again at 7:15 a.m. At 7:45 a.m. WSPA will report live from OP Taylor’s Toy Store. At 8:15 a.m. Jennifer Burgin and Pisgah Pete, the White Squirrel and friends will go live from the White Squirrel Shop. At 8:45 a.m. WSPA will go live from the courthouse with information on Street Festivals and the music scene.
